How will you teach writing this year?
Principals and Superintendents:
Plan Your Professional Development Days
with One and Two-Day Teaching Writing Seminars
The Teaching Writing Structure and Style seminar inspires your teachers in any subject area with greater confidence and enthusiasm as "Writing Coaches." The practical and measurable techniques presented in the TWS&S Seminar have been developed over 50 years by Dr. J.B. Webster, the author of "Blended Structure and Style in Composition." As a former elementary and high school teacher, and doctoral professor at Dalhousie University, Dr. Webster engineered the program to successfully bridge all student levels from elementary to university classrooms.
Utilizing the materials provided throughout the day, seminar participants will be equipped with an introiductory and practical working knowledge of both structure and style elements of the TWS&S writing program.
Every teacher who requires written work from their students should attend this dynamic program.

Professional Development for Teachers
"This P.D. workshop was by far the most informative and practical I have had the pleasure of experiencing. I have become a more 'sophisticated' writer in three days...and feel confident teaching this style in class."
"What a gift we have been given today! We now have a complete writing program that will fill the writing component of our literacy program and be integrated with other curriculum areas."
