How will YOU teach writing this FALL?
Excellent Resources & Webster's Academy offer a variety of resources to help you teach writing to your children. The choice depends on you - how do you like to homeschool?
Do you like to learn the material and then teach your students? Or perhaps you just wish to know more about the program and see the big picture. The Online Parent Seminars are designed to deliver the Excellence in Writing program in 2 hour segments over 6 sessions. Each month you will attend a session where Bev Rempel, Master Teacher will present a Unit of the program, build your syllabus and provide numerous handouts/checklists to use at home. Use this material and present it to your students.
Use the Student Writing Intensives DVDs and Canadian workbooks. You and your student will work through the DVDs and complete the lessons provided for practise. After completing the level, your student will have built up a portfolio of more than 60 writing assignments. Little preparation is required by the parent. Where to start?
